actions speak louder than words

purple ink flows from this pen like the words from your lips
but as it dies so does your voice and silence falls upon us again
i sat there waiting and waiting for something to say but nothing came to mind

i was so sure of myself before but after the impact i'm filled with doubt
and its hard enough to crawl away empty handed and alone
but it gets worse wehn you discover what you feared most of all
it's hopeless the expectations i had and though may actually work out
but in the end we're still stuck at the start as if we never moved at all

as the blue ink flows from this pen i lie to you again and again
but you dont seem to mind at all
i gave you a chance to say what you wanted
and i guess i thought you wouldve started
i cant move on until youre gone
