Silent Screams

As I stare at this screen
I wonder if they know
My inner thoughts
Get darker everyday

It's really hard
To sit by and watch
My life that was perfect
Seem to pass me by

I feel lost
When I look in their eyes
Because they have no idea
My heart is aching inside

Someone help me please
I'm crying out for help
Why don't they hear my screams?
Why aren't they listening?

As I look up at you
I see your beauty
But you see me
As your enemy

It really hurts me
To feel this way
With no one here
To save me from myself

I feel hopeless
Like everybody's gone
They've given up on me
And left me all alone

Someone help me please

I'm always there when you need me!
You know I'd do anything for you!
But when I need your help you don't seem
To care for me the way I do

So leave me here to die
And just walk away
It's too late now

The ones I call my friends
Have turned their backs and let me burn
